Jauch Expands Differential Oscillator Range with New JOx22 Series 
Jauch has expanded its high‑performance differential oscillator portfolio with the introduction of the new JOx22 series, complementing the recently launched JOx21 range.
Earlier this year, Jauch introduced the JOx21 differential oscillators in a compact 2.0 x 1.6 mm SMD package, delivering exceptional performance in space‑constrained designs. The portfolio has now been extended with the JOx22 series , offering the same outstanding electrical characteristics in a slightly larger 2.5 x 2.0 mm SMD package , giving designers additional flexibility for layout and performance optimisation.
Both the JOx21 and JOx22 series deliver exceptionally low phase jitter , with typical values as low as 40 fs rms at 156.25 MHz . Ultra‑low jitter ensures a highly stable and precise clock signal, which is critical in high‑speed data transmission where even minimal timing fluctuations can lead to errors.
In addition, the oscillators offer frequency stability of up to ±50 ppm , making them ideally suited today’s demanding, data‑intensive applications.
New JOx22 Differential Oscillators (2.5 x 2.0 mm)
The JOx22 series includes the following variants:
- JOH22 – Low‑jitter oscillator with differential output, HCSL level
- JOE22 – Low‑jitter oscillator with differential output, LVPECL level
- JOD22 – Low‑jitter oscillator with differential output, LVDS level
All devices are supplied in a miniature 2.5 x 2.0 mm SMD package , combining excellent signal integrity with a compact footprint.
- Supply voltage options : 1.8 V, 2.5 V and 3.3 V
- Wide operating temperature range : –40°C to +105°C (with options up to +125°C)
- Ultra‑low phase jitter for maximum timing precision
- High frequency stability for reliable clock performance
The JOx21 and JOx22 series are ideally suited for use in 5G infrastructure, data centres, networking equipment, industrial and embedded systems, and optical transmission, where precision timing and reliability are essential.
